Have you thought to yourself "How does she do it?" or is that just me. Sometimes I stand in awe of the women I met because they truly understand the concept of time management and how to make time for anything and everything. Other times, I find myself feeling discouraged that crossing off ONE task from the “To-Do List” should be possible because I definitely have more time then her!(or so I think) But then it hits me that I never wrote down the trials I overcame in between trying to accomplish a superficial task. (reread that sentence again). How about that time when you forgot to buy food for people coming over but you managed to whip up a nice dip, (check) or that time when you aced a test with only a few hours of sleep!( double check); or that time you presented a project without rehearsing first? (Triple Check!) My main point here is LAST week’s accomplishment is this week’s triumph! Don’t you dare forget what you overcame last week because it WILL be your TRIUMPHANT VICTORY this week. I’m not defined by what isn't finished and time definitely isn’t MY God. The only pressure that suffocates us is the pressure we put on ourselves. Why is it that if things aren’t done, we’re not succeeders? If I can learn to be okay with failing because time ran out and nothing was finished then so be it. Time isn’t of the essence, ignore that ridiculous saying, Your presence is the ultimate essence and make sure to be present, right there and then. The triumph of time is dealing with the trial so it can transform into a victory. Women have a way of treating life as a balancing act, they do the impossible and won’t stop until the mission is complete. How we carry ourselves through the trial makes all the difference. We see the finish line long before the trial begins, but we often forget the time it takes to become a triumphator. We end up finishing someone else’s race long before we dare to even begin our own simply because “I ran out of time”. My lists of triumphs could be someone else’s victory if I don’t complete my own mission that needs to be completed by [Insert Your Name Here]. Each trial that comes our way must be tackled with the mindset of time is for us BUT shouldn’t stop us. A woman who turns a trial into a triumph by focusing on the time and task she’s been given, is a woman who fought To be what God has called her to be. No one else can turn a trial into a triumph unless you do it yourself sweetie. So battle up, mountain up and pray towards heaven! Your lists of victories awaits you.
